The "China Blue Printing Fabric Exhibition", sponsored by Amity Group and Beijing Hansheng Cultural Information Consulting Co., Ltd., was held on July 8 at the "Ai Ren Art Museum" in Beijing Aimu Building. A total of more than 100 pieces of blue printed cloth are exhibited in this exhibition. Taking the combination of pictures, in-kind display and craft display, the exhibition focuses on the overall impression and plain nature of the traditional craft of blue printed cloth from aspects of dyeing technique and production process. . Exhibits collected from Shandong, Hebei and the Yangtze River provinces, mainly to produce the early 20th century blue calico. Nantong blue calico printing and dyeing technology fifth generation successor, the national arts and crafts master Wu Yuanxin, was invited to personally demonstrate stereotypes, scraping, dyeing and other traditional printing and dyeing process.
The exhibition was curated by Huang Yongsong, a famous Taiwan publisher and designer, and an active rescuer of Chinese folk cultural heritage. The exhibition was jointly planned by "Love" and "Han Sheng". Huang Yongsong said that this exhibition has far-reaching significance for people to re-examine the traditional culture and save the cultural heritage. Blue calico dating back 1,300 years ago, has been included in the national list of intangible cultural heritage.
