Brand Coffee Starbucks Appoints Three New Chinese Business Executives

Starbucks Coffee Company recently announced to the outside world that it has appointed a number of senior management personnel in Greater China, including vice president of finance, vice president of marketing and vice president of operations. This move shows that Starbucks is stepping up efforts to expand the Chinese mainland market.

The three senior management appointments are: Charles L. Jemley, vice president of finance for Starbucks Greater China, who has worked for Universal Restaurant operator Yum! Brands; Huang Limin, vice president of marketing, served at McDonald's China Development Corporation and McDonald's Restaurant Limited. The company’s Chief Marketing Officer; Vice President of Operations Jeff Hamill, former vice president of Starbucks US Southern California operations. All three will be assigned to the Starbucks Greater China Support Center in Shanghai and will report to Wang Jinlong, president of Starbucks Greater China.
