Air wire rope is mainly used to control the direction of the aircraft rudder, ailerons, engines, landing gear, compass needle appliance etc.. Because of the special environment, safety, reliability and long time use, the aviation steel wire rope has a higher performance requirement than the general average steel wire rope. For example, the tensile strength requirements of 1865MPa or more; requirements based on the structure and specifications, fatigue test under different tension. After the fatigue test, the wear parts should have enough strength, that is, breaking tensile strength (see wire rope test) can not be less than 50% of the breaking tension of this kind of steel wire rope. Wire rope is also required to have a high corrosion resistance. For example, 10 thousand meters altitude flying jet aircraft, its 90% flight time at minus 50 degrees celsius. And when landing in the atmospheric conditions, when the temperature changes fast, the wire rope surface often dew out; also landing brake, the engine down spray flue gas to flow through the aileron and wing assisted and vertical rudder, and the steel wire rope has strong corrosion and pollution. The variety of aviation steel wire rope is single strand wire rope, organic material core wire rope and wire rope. The typical structure is 7 * 1, 1 * 19, 6 * 7+IWS, 6 * 19+IWS, 6 * 7+NF, 6 * 19+NF, etc.. The raw material used in the aviation steel wire rope is the galvanized steel wire and the stainless steel wire. The coating of galvanized steel wire should be uniform and continuous, without crack and spalling. Raw material after passing inspection, according to process requirements closely and neatly wrapped in compliance with the provisions of the spool into twist shares twist shares, then the rope machine SCO rope. In addition to the single strand rope is a left twist, the twist direction (see wire rope) is the right mutual twist. Cord is generally made of cotton or linen, and in neutral oil soaked, or the use of metal core. The twist distance of the wire rope should be 6 to 8 times of the diameter of the rope, and the twist pitch should not be more than 12 times the diameter of the strand. The pitch of the rope strand and the twist distance of the steel wire should be uniform in its length. The diameter of the steel wire rope should be the center. Twist into a rope also to oil tempered medium were low temperature tempering processing, to eliminate the wire rope twisting of the stress and further removal of hydrogen electro galvanized steel wire and improve aviation steel wire rope, and the resistance to fatigue performance and breaking force.Details:
