Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week opens on October 5th, this is the fifth year

The 5th Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week will be held from October 5th to 14th.

Women's designer Mo Benchellal kicked off the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week on the evening of October 4. This year's Fashion Week includes branded fashion shows, public events and regional events across the Netherlands, with a focus on themes of circular fashion, sustainability and innovation.

On October 10th, the Green Fashion Talent Awards will be presented, which will introduce the latest sustainable fashion brands. On October 12th, the performance of the designer duo Trinhbecx's "Talking Trash" will host a premiere event, they developed a unique sustainable fashion collection using processed organic waste (such as ground coffee beans) Fabric made from pineapple skin).

Sightseeing tours in the heart of The Hague, introducing visitors to a store that offers sustainable fashion

The Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week was founded in 2014 by Cecile Scheele, the founder of the Sustainable Fashion Trade Show Soul Salon and the sustainable fashion agency Goodbrandz. The first Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week was held from October 6 to 12, 2014, and each session was held in October of that year.

The Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week official said that research shows that 68% of consumers want more socially responsible clothing, but do not know how to buy; 60% of people do not know enough about sustainable fashion; among 10 Dutch Nine are ignorant of the background of sustainable brands. The 10-day Sustainable Fashion Week is “unique”, presenting sustainable innovation, young and sophisticated designer work and fashion ready-to-wear to more than 900,000 consumers, companies, retailers, schools and institutions.
